Stratford, struggling for a future. London, the world’s creative, digital city. The potential is huge. Vancouver, Beijing, Sydney. Their media centres became major conference and event centres. London won’t. Half the building is temporary. It’s a half-arsed job. What we’re left with is fit for what? I’d like to see the focus turn to digital and creative but what’s the USP? Its hard to see given the existing clusters in London but there’s a once in a generation opportunity here to link local education (secondary and tertiary) with the digital and creative communities and even investment via the City. Will we grab this chance? Unforunately, I have my doubts.]]>
