clamp down on social media. It would stop people rioting. This is a flawed idea. So flawed in fact that it’s hardly worth engaging with. His suggestion is not only totally hypocrtical (remember the UK government denouncing social media bans during the Arab Spring anyone?), it’s stupid. It shows that Cameron and presumably his advisers are so far removed from modern society as to be irrelevant to the debate and finally, and above all… IT WON’T WORK. I really don’t think there’s anything else worth saying on the subject. Hopefully it will just quietly go the way of other stupid ideas.
